As the curator of your brand it's your job to ensure that your customers know about your brand

The common pitfall that we see a lot of people quickly fall into is an overall lack of curation. your job as the curator of your brand is to ensure that your customers know about your brand, the meaning behind your brand story, and most importantly, the story behind your different products. 

It's your job to put context around those products as to why a customer should want them and what they're gonna do for the customer.

Use those product descriptions on your product pages to tell really meaningful stories: the story behind the story… get those details out there on the product page, and make your customers feel emotionally attached to those products.

Another thing we see people commonly do is to fall into a common drop shipping trap which is to mass print on a variety of colors. as soon as you start saying this product is available on 12 different colors, it cheapens your entire brand experience.  

Handpicking a few choice colors with your designs shows the customers you know what you’re doing, and gives them less to think about.
